Utilize collaborative coaching cycles that include pre and post-conversation to improve instruction and student outcomes.
Engage in effective two-way communication.
Set collaborative goals based on student data to improve instructional practices and student outcomes.
Support teachers in reflecting on their teaching practice.

Coaching Model Expectations/Non-Negotiables
The coach and administrator should meet weekly or bi-weekly
Possible topics: share updates, discuss, explore, problem-solve, goal setting, coaching schedule, professional learning
Coaches should not be used for teacher coverage or as the school testing coordinator
While it is understood that all adults on campus are responsible for the supervision of students, these duties should not interfere with the ability to meet teacher needs.
Coaches can work with a group of students to implement instructional strategies when modeling for teachers, however, the majority of their time should focus on coaching teachers to improve tier-one instruction.
Students should not be assigned to coaches
