Boy's Baseball

The Yough boys baseball team started out their season in Tennessee. They were only able to play 2 games due to the bad weather. They were not able to pull out a win. Their record this season was 3-17. The boys were not able to achieve going to the playoffs this season. Upcoming senior, Nathaniel Bell, has big goals. He says the upcoming season will be better and they will be back in the playoffs! The seniors this year are Raidon Kuroda, Sam Smalich, Cole Sleasman, and Hayden Eicher. Girl's Softball

The Yough Lady Cougars kicked off their softball season at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Despite a challenging season with players battling injuries, they persevered, achieving a 7-10 record. Although the team fell short of playoffs this year, they’re planning on a strong comeback for next season. This year’s sole senior is Adoria Waldier who is undecided on where she is attending college but anticipates continuing her softball career. Wishing Adoria the best of luck and team success next season!

The Yough Clay Target Team’s spring season has begun and is off to a great start. They hosted a Spring Smash fundraiser in May, which had a great outcome. They will also be participating in the State Tournament in June. Several members may also be selected to shoot in the National Tournament in July. The team will be parting with four seniors this year: TJ Hoyle, Peytan Snyder, Collin Magill, and Jordan McDonough. Congratulations to these students for their hard work and dedication to the team, and we wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors. We would also like to thank everyone who makes it possible for us to have this team.

The 2024-2025 track season was a stellar performance by all. Several players made both sections and counties, but Luke Vinoski ranked 9th for the WPIALs in the 300-meter hurdles. The team will greatly miss their seniors leaving, consisting of Jordan McDounagh, Luke Vinoski, Sydney Scherich, Jack Kopp, Maxwell Ludwig, Amber Barbosa, Sidney Bergman, Garret Hosey, Colin Magil, Angelo Dippolito, Aiden Thornton, and Gavin Ortz. The Girls’ Lacrosse Team has had a great season! They won their senior night game on Wednesday, May 7th, at home against Winchester Thurston. This year's seniors are as pictured: Kylee Waller, Cheyanne Lane, Riley Stoken, Chrissy Henry, and Miranda Johnston!
