Chromebook Insurance
Chromebook Insurance
Yorktown CSD has partnered with Securranty to offer an affordable insurance program for school-issued student devices The insurance is optional, however, it is highly recommended. Securranty provides a high level of affordable service that is coordinated through the district so that families do not have to be involved in handling claims for damaged devices covered by the insurance. The insurance is valid for any device issued to students in grades 6-12 whether it is new or previously used. More info

Freshmen are eligible to trade in their devices for a new one this year. Stop by the library with your old device and charger to be issued a new one. See Ms. Dunn if you you have any questions!

The library is open every day from the first bell until 3:00 PM.
On average, 875 students visit the library every day.
Tutors are available almost every period courtesy of the NHS.
The library offers a designated quiet study area.
The collection contains over 10,000 books and 70 databases.
The Chromebook program is run out of the library.
Hundreds of ebooks and audiobooks are available for immediate download.
There is a 3D printers and a large format printer in the library.
The makerspace is open for students to explore every day during normal library hours.
Textbooks are available for student use in the library.
