Author Information

York Papers in Linguistics accepts publications from staff and students who currently are or previously were based at the University of York, presented papers at any conferences held at the University of York, or work involving collaboration with members of the Univeristy. The Editorial Committee welcomes papers from all research areas of language and linguistics. These may include, but are not limited to:

Submissions of full, paper-length articles (up to 25 pages), as well as shorter discussion articles and notes, are all welcome. Publication in YPL does not in any way prejudice future publication elsewhere.

While there will be regular calls for papers, the Editorial Committee accepts submissions throughout the year and strongly encourages authors to submit manuscripts to YPL2 at any time during the year. It is envisaged that at least one issue of YPL will be published each year. In the event of a special open issue, a general call for papers will be announced.

If you would like to submit a paper, or if you have any questions, please email us at ypl@york.ac.uk.
