York Disability Rights Forum is led by disabled people and works to promote equal access to human rights for all those with disabilities who live or work in York.
The Forum aims to be a collective voice, to raise awareness of issues affecting disabled people in York and create positive changes.
Members of the DISCO Project have worked with YDRF on student volunteering projects and they have kindly contributed to our 'Including Disabled People in Research Toolkit'.
A toolkit built through a collaboration with York Disability Rights Forum and student volunteers at the University of York. It aims to help you find out more about the Social and Human Rights Models of disability.
Whether you'd like to just connect or even collaborate with us, we'd love to hear from you! Just email disco-project@york.ac.uk to say hello.
