It is simply a safe place to meet new people, relax and have fun. You can contribute as much or as little as you want to.
INCLUDE stands for Inclusive Network Connecting and Linking University Disabled Employees.
This inclusive network is open to all staff with a disability, long-term medical condition or neurodivergent condition, whether you identify as disabled or not. You don’t have to disclose your disability or condition to join the network.
It’s also open to everyone with an interest in supporting the University to become more disability confident.
It's a confidential place where those with dyslexia can share their achievements, challenges and offer support to each other, normalising dyslexia and offering tools and techniques to maximise individual potential.
To join the group, please contact carrie.lyall@york.ac.uk or zoe.adelburgh@hyms.ac.uk, who will add you to the Google Group and invite you to ongoing meetings.
This Slack channel is an open, safe space for staff members to discuss, share and celebrate autism.
You can participate in any way you like: by reading through discussions, posting questions or sharing news and experiences.
Join our #staff-autism-space Slack channel.
