IUPAC

The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) publishes guidelines for the use of quantities, units and symbols in chemistry. These guidelines are published as a book, which is commonly referred to as the Green Book. Appropriate use of quantities, units and symbols is an important consideration when preparing tables and graphs.
