Yampah High School Infant & Toddler Nursery

YAMPAH INFANT & TODDLER NURSERY MISSION: is to provide high-quality early childhood education and care to the children of teenage parents who are enrolled in Yampah Mountain High School. Our goal is to create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child. We believe that every child deserves a strong foundation for future success, and that this foundation begins in the earliest years of life. Through play-based learning and developmentally appropriate experiences, we aim to prepare our youngest learners for success in school and in life.

The Licensed Early Childhood Education Program at Yampah Mountain High School provides high-quality educational services for children aged newborn to 3½ years-old, whose teenage parents are enrolled in the school. The Yampah Nursery is designed to help these youngest "students'' become school-ready by providing them with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters their cognitive, social, and emotional development.

The program is staffed by licensed early childhood educators who are trained in child development and curriculum planning. They provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.

In addition to providing high-quality early childhood education, the program also offers family resource management services. These services include parenting classes, financial literacy training, and access to community resources that can help families meet their basic needs.

Through the Licensed Early Childhood Education Program, teenage parents are able to continue their education at Yampah Mountain High School while their children receive high-quality early childhood education. This allows parents to focus on their academic goals while their children are being cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.

Overall, the Licensed Early Childhood Education Program at Yampah Mountain High School provides an essential service to teenage parents and their children. It helps ensure that the youngest members of the school community are receiving the support and resources they need to be school-ready, while also providing parents with the educational and social resources they need to succeed.
