School-Day is the online platform used by our school to streamline communication, payments, and event management. To help parents get started, we’ve provided a step-by-step guide on how to create an account and connect with your child’s profile using a Secure-Match™ Key.
This guide includes:
How to register for a School-Day parent account
How to add your child using the Secure-Match™ Key provided by the school
Tips for managing notifications and linking multiple students
We strongly encourage all parents to activate their accounts to stay informed about school events, permission forms, and important updates.

If you haven’t received your Secure-Match™ Key or need assistance, please contact the school office.
To ensure student safety and accurate attendance records, YCDSB uses the SafeArrival system. Parents and guardians are expected to report their child’s absence before the school day begins using one of the following methods:
Phone: Call 1-855-856-7862
Online: Visit go.schoolmessenger.ca
Mobile App: Download the SchoolMessenger App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Parents can set a 4-digit PIN for each student through the SchoolMessenger app. This PIN must be entered when reporting or explaining an absence by phone. It helps ensure that only authorized guardians can report absences and prevents students from reporting themselves.
Multiple guardians can share a PIN or set their own
PINs are managed within the app and are not tied to a specific phone or device.
