Registering for entry into the CCCHS IB Programme

Pre Diploma Program Application OPENS ON OCTOBER 20, 2025

STEP 1: Apply to the Program via the IB Admissions Application Package with all supporting documentation: 

DUE December 3, 2025  by 11:59 pm.

In order for your application process to go smoothly please have the following readily available:

1. All student and parent/guardian information.

2. Current school information.

3. All necessary documents: Final Grade 7 report card. 

4. Written Response:   500 words maximum (Please ensure the work is your own.  If found using the work of another individual, website or an Artificial Intelligence your acceptance into the program is at risk).  Question will be released on December 2. 

5. Admissions application FEE is $25.00 and will be required (via School Day) before the application will be considered.

STEP 2: IB Admissions Fee of $25 is payable via School Day by December 3, 2025 (Please use the following instructions)

STEP 3: Successful applicants will be notified via email December 15, 2025 about completing the registration process for entry into CCCHS. Please ensure that you read through the email carefully.  

*** Please note that applications will not be assessed without payment. 

If you receive notification that your child may begin the IB Pre-Diploma Program in September 2025, proceed to Step 4 & 5. 

STEP 4: Ensure that you complete the YCDSB REGISTRATION. 

• NON-YCDSB STUDENTS Instructions for this process will be provided with your IB acceptance notification.

• YCDSB registration should have been completed via link that was sent by the YCDSB on October 20th. 

STEP 5: Complete the package that is sent to you once you accept your offer - Course Selection, Student Activity Fee ($50.00) + IB Programme Fees ($150.00), Locker Fee, Muskoka Woods Information.

*** Please note that students will not be registered in the Pre IB programme without payment. 

Candidates will be evaluated based on their report card marks/ comments AND an authentic written response.  If found using the work of another individual, website or an Artificial Intelligence your acceptance into the program is at risk.

All candidates will be informed of their application status on a future date. 

Application Process for Grade 9 students wishing to enroll in the CCCHS Grade 10 Pre-IB Programme

Current Cardinal Carter CHS Grade 9 students wishing to apply to the Grade 10 Pre-IB Programme are to contact the IB Coordinator.

Grade 9 students that are not from Cardinal Carter CHS please call the school to speak to the IB Coordinator.
