Goals for semester
I chose to do graphic design because I wanted to learn how to use photoshop and other design tools. I also chose to do graphic design because I wanted to become a better artist with more tools at my disposal. One thing specifically that I want to improve is my ability to draw proportionally without having to erase a ton. Another thing that I want to improve apon is to be able to draw geometric and natural shapes with ease.
Reflecting on my goals for the semester
I think that I was able to archives my goals for this graphic design. I learned how to use photoshop and its extensive tool library. In my opinion, I have improved as an artist. This can be seen in the drawing I did later on. My ability to draw proportions has improved, but not to the extent that I wished for. I can draw geometric and natural shapes with ease, especially with photoshop's extensive tool library.
The assignment that I am the most proud of
The assignments that I am most proud of are the YHS logo design. I especially like the boat design, because I think I did the perspective on the book well, and I liked the shape of the boat. This assignment taught me to constantly evolve my piece of art depending on what the contractor decides they like. On top of this, it also taught me that my first idea is general not the best. Moreover, to be constantly improve on my ideas.
