To push your creative thinking,
To practice photographing on a regular basis,
To continue to learn how your camera/mobile device works and interacts with varying light/subject/situations.
To get in close to the subject so that it abstracts it.
I saw the tulips sitting on my counter and I thought that they were a really pretty color and the inside of it looked cool so I took a close up picture.
There were icicles hanging from my wood pile after the storm and I liked how you could see the air bubbles and also the background of the chopped wood.
I thought that the rust aginst the yellow was really interesting to look at and I really thought that a close up of the peeling paint was so cool.
I saw a pole that was coming from the fire hydrate that had a circle on top. I took the ice that was covering it all off in one piece and asked my mom to put her hand underneath it which looked really cool.
