Purpose:

• To demonstrate understanding of accurate perspective of cylinders and cubes;

• To use a variety of mark-making strategies to practice and demonstrate the value changes on forms, helping them appear 3D

• To practice using a variety of media to draw a still life

Reflection 

When I look at my artwork I think my use of value is very good. The values in my artwork detail reflections and shadows, I am proud of how this turned out. My mark-making fits into the style being used and shows the attention to detail that I put into my work. I spent time making sure that every mark was intentional and made art better. I think I should put extra attention to angles and placement making sure everything is proportional and looks as realistic as possible. I feel that at times some of my shapes feel wonky because not everything is proportional. I enjoyed this project and it was fun to work in new mediums and with inks that I have never used before.
