McDonald's, started off as a small barbecue stand in California, owned by two brothers in the 1940s. In 1952, they opened a second location, they wanted their restaurant to be eye-catching so they worked with an architect who came up with the two golden arches that eventually turned into the logo we know today.
The Nike Swoosh logo symbolizes quickness, movement, and motivation. She tried hundreds of ideas, but eventually she kept coming back to the swoosh.
