Reflecting on my goals for the semester

At the beginning of the semester, my goals were to improve my skills in drawing and painting and to learn more about the different styles of drawing and painting. Looking back, I can confidently say that I have achieved these goals. My drawing skills have significantly improved through projects like the landscape perspective drawings, still life studies, and the self-portrait. These activities and projects challenged me to improve my technique, experiment with composition, and pay closer attention to detail. I also explored a variety of artistic styles and mediums, which broadened my understanding of art. Working with watercolors, acrylic paints, and charcoal allowed me to experience the unique qualities and challenges of each medium.
