I am most proud of my watercolor landscape painting for many reasons. To get started, I love the look of outdoorsy areas, so making this was very enjoyable for me. Painting the grass, the sky, and especially the trees took a long time. It also took me a long time to layer on colors on every part and add strokes to the plants. I did this by lightly brushing the paint brush on the the page and then adding lots of layers. Therefore, there was a lot of detail which also included the flowers and the clouds. For the flowers a added a few layers to some, but not all of them to create dimension and value. So at the end, looking at this creation made me appreciate the time I spent into it.
