A work placement offers students the chance to step outside the classroom and gain first-hand insight into a specific job or career sector.  This practical experience can be invaluable in helping Year 8, Year 10 and Upper Sixth students explore their interests and make informed decisions about their future options.

We have three in-person programmes at Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form focussing on three year groups: Year 8, Year 10 and Upper Sixth, as well as a virtual programme for all.
