Blue Lights: Saxon Air’s Quarterly Focus on Frontline Services is designed for 14–18-year-olds.
On Saturday 16 May, 9:45am–2:00pm, at the Saxon Air Hangar, Norwich (NR6 6JT), students can take part in an energetic, immersive INSPIRE: Innovate experience.
Working in small groups, they will rotate through interactive activities delivered by frontline professionals, including partners such as:
Norfolk Accident Rescue Service
East Anglian Air Ambulance
HM Coastguard
Norfolk Blood Bikes
Activities such as CPR response, a line‑throw rescue challenge, and a what3words emergency mapping task are designed to explicitly develop employability skills including:
Teamwork and communication
Problem‑solving under pressure
Responsibility and decision‑making
Understanding of real‑world roles, values and expectations
These employer‑led sessions align with the principles of Modern Work Experience, giving students meaningful insight into the workplace, exposure to diverse roles, and a clearer understanding of progression routes into frontline, technical and operational careers.
