Book Donation Program

𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞: 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐉𝐌𝐏 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲

On April 24, 2026, the 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, in partnership with the 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐁𝐉𝐌𝐏) – 𝐅𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐚, supported the 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐮𝐭 (𝐑𝐘𝐖𝐎) 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 through a meaningful book donation initiated by the 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐗𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞.

A total of 127 book titles (212 volumes) and 4 magazine titles (359 volumes) were turned over to help establish the upcoming jail library, set to be launched on May 27, 2026. The donation was formally received by 𝐉𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐒. 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐚.

This initiative highlights how access to reading materials can open opportunities for growth, learning, and positive change.

On February 25, 2026, the 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 conducted a meaningful book donation activity and storytelling session by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐯𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧, 𝐆𝐒 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧, for 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, in collaboration with the 𝐗𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, and the 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 – 𝐗𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐉𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐡𝐄-𝐗𝐔). The initiative aimed to support students’ learning needs by providing educational resources that promote literacy, academic growth, and a deeper appreciation for knowledge.

Pagalungan National High School is a partner school of Xavier University Senior High School through the SHS Community Club, strengthening continued collaboration and outreach efforts in support of learners and educators in the community.

XU Basic Education Libraries is pleased to support 𝐌𝐫. 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧’𝐬 initiative in establishing a community library in Indulang, Bukidnon. This project was made possible through his partnership with 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, which provided the space for the library.

We are grateful to contribute books and be part of an effort that fosters literacy and a love for  reading among the school and the nearby indigenous and farming community.

On August 26, 2025, BE Libraries - Junior High School proudly donated a collection of valuable books to St. John Vianney Theological Seminary 📖✨. This initiative reflects our commitment to sharing knowledge, nurturing faith, and supporting the formation of future priests and leaders. 

From Xavier Ateneo to Xavier Academy of Initao, spreading the love for reading knows no bounds! Our recent book donation drive at Xavier Academy of Initao on March 23, 2024, through the joint efforts of Xavier Ateneo Senior High School Library and Xavier University Grade School Library, is making a real difference in promoting literacy and learning. Together, we're fostering a culture of reading and knowledge-sharing. Here's to many more chapters of impact!
