Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan’s Basic Education Libraries are integral to the university’s mission of forming Christ-centered, competent, compassionate, and culturally integrated individuals. These libraries serve the Grade School, Junior High School, and Senior High School units, providing resources and services that support academic excellence and holistic development.

It provides relevant information sources, innovative technologies, and services to facilitate excellence in research, learning, teaching, and community engagement for the Xavier Ateneo Basic Education community.

The Basic Education Libraries offer a range of facilities and services tailored to the needs of students and faculty:

Learning Spaces: Modern and cozy areas designed to inspire 21st-century learning, featuring laptop tables, reading areas, Wi-Fi, and self-service printing stations. Students can borrow laptops or tablets for research and academic assignments, promoting digital literacy and independent learning.

Resource Access: A diverse collection of books and materials across various subjects, including Circulation, Serials/Periodicals, General Reference, Fiction, Special Collections, and Filipiniana sections. Borrowing privileges vary by grade level, ensuring appropriate access for all students. 

Online Services: Virtual reference services and access to electronic books and journals support flexible learning, especially during times when physical access to the library is limited.
