at IC Cadeo e Pontenure

My collegues from Escola Annexa Joan Puigbert and I arrived at Bologna airport on May 21st and we took the opportunity to visit the city of Modena and its historic center before arriving at the town where the school is located. This town is called Roveleto di Cadeo. In fact, the school we are visiting, IC Cadeo e Pontenure, is divided into two large parts, one in a different town.

In Roveleto di Cadeo, there are three sections: the Childhood school, the Primary school and the Secondary school, apart from one school library which is open to the neighborhood. And these three sections are also found at Pontenure, a close village, as well as another school library.

Early in the day we have known the School Library of this educational center as well as its main spaces. Then we have visited the childhood building and we have gone on an excursion with the students. They were very happy to do an outdoor activity because the previous days it had rained a lot and they had not been able to leave the classroom. 

Finally we have attended a music lesson and I found it very interesting how the teacher analyzed with the students the way in which music interferes in the creation of suspense or humor or other effects in a film, an Indiana Jones film.

After work, there has been also time for tourism and our hostess Laurence Bellini has taken us to visit two beautiful places in the surrounding area: Grazzano Visconti and Castello Arquatro. And we have integrated with the Italian population having an aperitif!
