Six students (6th graders) and two teachers are participating in the first Barrufet school student mobility. We are going to Vodskov, a village near Aalborg, in the north of Denmark.
Although only six students have been chosen to visit the school (selection criteria can be seen in its web section), all the students in the class are learning about Danish culture and are participating in the preparation of their colleagues' mobility. We are doing a school presentation together, the activity "Breaking stereotypes and prejudices", and together with their families participating in a recipe book to bring some ideas to the hosting school (who has a cooking class).
"Grindsted skole" has been visited by three teachers from Barrufet school last year and their teachers has visited us in jobshadowing too! For this reason, we know it's a great school, with friendly and very competent teachers, very nice students and our students cannot wait to "live" this experience in the north of Europe!
Presentation about the students group mobility (Parents meeting)
Three teachers, two music teachers, one member of the school managentment team, and one English teacher are going to participate in a teaching assignments activity in ICS Andormo Micca (a primary school) and also in Migliano pre-primary school. More information soon.
Three people, a technician in infant education, a pre-primary teacher and a member of the school manager team are going to job shadow an innovative school in PILA. This school has been awarded with an EITA prize (European Innovative Teaching Awards) with an Erasmus project focussed in pre-primary innovative practices. We are very interested in learning about their methodologies and strategies, their ICT use, their inclusion and diversity treatment at school...
