First Transnational meeting: CELLE (Germany) - November 2017

(Coordinating the project) A short visit to Celle, in Germany, to coordinate and establish the first steps of our project: learning about eTwinning with an eTwinning ambassador help, speaking about the next mobilities (Czech Republic, Spain, Greece, Croatia and Denmark ), the activities (about Physics, Sports, Geography, Maths, Music, Arts and History...), students roles, teachers roles, magazines designs... and knowing something else about each other... A great experience!

Short-term joint staff training event in Most- February 2018

This event is focused on using Meccano and other building sets to teach Physics. Our 5th grade teachers and the English teacher will participate and learn about Physics in workshops and will attend some courses about Czech educational system and eTwinnning.

Today has been a full day out of the city of Most.

In the morning, we went with the Erasmus KA2 group of teachers accompanied by the students of Základní school by coach to go to see the National Museum of Technology in Prague.

We have visited all the themed rooms of the museum such as architecture, astronomy, design and the spectacular exhibition of means of transport throughout history.

Later we have done a pedagogical-cultural visit to the historical city center of Prague where we have been able to observe aspects of daily life and important monuments such as: The Charles Bridge, the Republic square and other emblematic buildings.

The day began today at 8 o'clock in the morning when all the teachers of the KA2 project met in the hall of the hotel to take an urban bus that would leave us at the school host of Most. Then we were able to meet the headmaster of school and other members of the teacher’s team. In a language classroom of the school, we have made a sharing of the magazine made by the students of all the schools which take in part of the process and what the next numbers will be like. The etwinning space has been visited and the next mobilities of the KA2 project have been planned and scheduled for the next academic year.

At mid-morning we went to a nearby restaurant and in the afternoon we visited the church of Most and we have known the interesting story of how they moved it years ago from one place to another. Later, we carried out a joint activity in a virtual reality room with applications of a pedagogical nature for the different subjects: science, geography, etc.

Finally, before going to dinner we were shown a small craft brewery where we were able to see both the materials and the raw material used and the entire manufacturing process.

Today we started just like the day before going to the school by bus. There we meet the project coordinator. We have visited the center guided by two students from the work group of the etwinning project. During this we have been able to observe different spaces such as the gym, the history room, language classrooms, science classrooms, the corridors ...

Later we have separated ourselves into two groups to attend English and physics (realization of classroom experiments) lessons. We have been observing the methodologies and techniques used as well as interacting with the students.

Before midday we went to have lunch in the dining room of the school where the menu was typical from the Czech Republic. When we were already at the table, students began to arrive at lunchtime and emphasized the order and tranquility with which they did.

Then the group of teachers has met again to listen to the information and proposals about the project by the Croatian professor Petra Zganec. We have also pinpointed the possible activities for the next meeting in May in Spain.

Finishing our experience at school, we have been able to observ the development of experiments carried out as an extra-curricular activity by the physical club.

Taking advantage of a time of leisure and the kindness of the teachers Hanna and Edit, we have been able to visit the castle of Most and enjoy the views of the city and the coal mines.

Short-term joint staff training event in Sant Boi- May 2018

Event focussed on Geography
