The department of Life Science & Biochemistry offers two post graduate programmes:
M.Sc. Life Science, Specialization: Applied Medical Science (by Papers)
M.Sc. Life Science (by Research)
The programme is designed to strengthen and enhance a student’s understanding and knowledge of Biology by exposure, over a two year period, to several fields such as Cell Biology, Physiology, Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology, Biochemistry in mainstream biology and allied fields such as Biostatistics, Pharmacology, Bioinformatics and others.
The department laboratory is recognized by the University of Mumbai for PhD in Life Science and PhD in Biochemistry.

The course is currently undergoing a revamp and is unavailable for the upcoming academic year.
The Diploma in Clinical Research, run by an experienced faculty from the industry, aims to provide exposure to practical aspects of clinical research. It is a 120 credit course with 28 weekend lectures and a 4 month industry internship program or a dissertation project. In addition to training students to excel in this area, the course also provides an opportunity to clinical research professionals to upgrade their knowledge by enrolling into specific modules of the course curriculum.
