BIOWAVES 2024

Annual One-Day National Symposium3rd February 2024

Ayurveda, the traditional medicinal system that originated in India, has been tried, tested and proven for more than 5000 years. It is based on the idea of achieving equilibrium between the body, mind, and spirit, and that each individual possesses a distinctive constitution, thereby negating the notion of a universally applicable approach to well-being and recuperation. Ayurveda emphasizes the use of natural remedies, lifestyle adjustments, a wholesome nourishing diet and a positive mindset. It encompasses the incorporation of yogic postures (asanas), breath control exercises (pranayamas), and meditation techniques customized to the individual, all of which contribute to holistic healing, rejuvenation and a greater level of consciousness.

BIOWAVES 2024 - Health and Wellness: An Indian Perspective aims to explore the confluence of ancient Indian practices and contemporary medical approaches. Discover the transformative potential of Ayurveda, the profound effects of meditation on stress reduction, the holistic approach of yoga towards well-being, and the therapeutic role of music and dance in mental health rehabilitation.
