Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements
US Citizen
Must be 18 Years Old
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D., no college required
No felony convictions or offenses that would be a felony if committed in Texas
Normal hearing in both ears and vision that is correctable to 20/40 binocular
Must pass a departmental background investigation, polygraph, medical, and psychological evaluation prior to being hired
Must possess a valid driver license (if out of state, be eligible to obtain valid Texas Drivers License)
Acceptable driving history
Be of good moral character
