LEARNING COACH.....
Middle and Upper Elementary students are recommended to have a learning coach, typically a parent or guardian, to guide and support throughout each day.
For every hour of online programming, 30-45 minutes of offline instruction is recommended with the designated learning coach.
DAILY INSTRUCTIONAL SCHEDULE
Upper Elementary and Middle Level students will be assigned a teacher for reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies; and should expect to spend a minimum of 50 mintues per day (Monday - Friday) completing course work.
Students in grades 6-8 will be learning asynchronously with access to teacher office hours,
as well as Learning Labs for content area help.
Students will participate in a daily morning meeting to strengthen each student's connection to their teacher and classmates.
Students, and parent/guardian, should review the Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) weekly looking for appropriate academic growth and attendance.
