LEARNING COACH.....
Elementary students must have a learning coach, typically a parent or guardian, to guide and support the student throughout each day.
For every hour of online programming, 30-45 minutes of offline instruction is needed with the designated learning coach.
DAILY INSTRUCTIONAL SCHEDULE
Elementary students will be assigned a teacher for reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. Students in grades K-3 will be given workbooks for all core classes, and will be expected to attend live, daily lessons.
Students in grades K-3 can expect approximately 20-30 minutes per day of live instruction.
Daily, live lesson content is uploaded to each weekly module.
Students will participate in a daily morning meeting to strengthen each student's connection to their teacher and classmates.
Students will be supported with online content that will involve asynchronous work.
Students, and parent/guardian, should review the Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) weekly looking for appropriate growth and attendance.
Students in grades 4 -6 will be learning asynchronously with access to teacher office hours for content area help. Information can be found on your student's welcome page.
