Goals and Objectives
Monday & Thursday -Recognize and use vocal warm up exercises properly
Tuesday & Thursday -Assemble into groups and work on changing behavior techniques
Wednesday -Develop theatre vocabulary through reading Chapter 13
Wednesday & Thursday: -Employ reading skills by reading Chapter 13 in pairs
Friday -Gain speaking comfort and experience by performing a current event
Friday -Examine a videotaped production of "Whose Line?" to gain exposure to ensemble acting
Learning Activities or Instructional Strategies
Tuesday & Thursday -Teacher to model specific warm up exercises and involve students through imitation
Wednesday -Teacher to model reading Chapter 13 for vocabulary, students will complete the reading
Friday -Teacher will observe students performing their current events
Thursday -Teacher will ask the students to work with a partner to craft and perform their 'persuading' techniques
Friday -Discuss and critique a performance of "Whose Line?"

Tuesday - Teacher to observe students researching articles for current events
Thursday -Teacher will observe students rehearsing and performing their Persuasive projects

Friday -Teacher will observe students reciting Current Events to hone their public speaking skills
