Classroom Expectations and Guidelines

•Objectives

•Major assessments (pantomime, monologue, classic scene, modern scene)

[50% - approximately one a month; rubrics will be provided]

•Minor assessments (participation, ROARs, vocabulary quizzes)

[50% - each weekly; lecture notes and rubrics will be issued)

•Textbook – Basic Drama Projects

For week of: January 27 - January 31, 2025

Lesson Plan 17 - Finals/Performance

Goals and Objectives

-Finals Prep/Final Exam/Final performance 1/2 days = Wednesday. Thursday, Friday

-Final Exam Block Wednesday 10:10 - 12:10p. Class doesn't meet on Thursday.

Monday & Tuesday -Use technology

Wednesday -Develop theatre vocabulary through completing a Final Exam

Tuesday & Wednesday -work on the Final Design project

Learning Activities or Instructional Strategies

Monday & Tuesday -Teacher to model for Final projects

Tuesday -Teacher will organize students into groups and assist them in continuing to work on crafting their Performances and essays

Wednesday -Discuss a video regarding various professional Broadway theatres and film locations

Differentiation

-All IEP and 504 plans have been followed for this instructional period.

Assessments

Tuesday - Teacher to observe students completing a Final Exam

Wednesday -Assess student vocabulary knowledge

Monday -Teacher will observe students working together to create their scenes
