Students researched a Pre-Columbian Latin American group and created a mini-poster describing culture, structures, and way of life.
For Hispanic Heritage Month, my classes conducted a research assignment on three important figures in history. Cooperatively, they worked in groups to complete this activity. After the research was conducted, we discussed in whole group. Each group gave insight into their findings and what they found interesting. All in all, the activity was a success and the students gained knowledge in relation to Hispanic Heritage month
Students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by creating paper doll artworks representing traditional clothing from Latin American countries. They used paint, fabric, and other materials to design colorful and meaningful figures. This project helped students learn about Hispanic culture while expressing their creativity through art.
Students were to research cultural attributes of Hispanic countries and complete the graphic organizers. Students would then choose a country and draw/color the flag and describe three facts about that country.
