The Woodbridge Township School District does not conduct a summer school for failed courses.
If students fail a graduation requirement, the following options are available:
Repeat course - The course will be repeated before graduation during the academic school year if it is a requirement. If not, the student may not need to repeat the course.
Edgenuity – Virtual Summer School – Registration set up through the counseling department. Registration open as soon as school ends. Last day for virtual class is Aug/22/2025.

As per the Woodbridge Township Board of Education Regulation 6142.2 which states as follows;
“The Board of Education recognizes that each child develops and grows in a unique pattern and that pupils should be placed in the educational setting most appropriate to their social, physical, and educational needs. Each pupil enrolled in this district shall be moved forward in a continuous program of learning in harmony with his or her own development.
Class standing is based on the following criteria:
All first year high school students will be considered Grade 9 students;
All second year high school students will be considered Grade 10 students;
All third year high school students will be considered Grade 11 students;
Grade 12 students must demonstrate that they have earned a minimum of 85 credits toward graduation. If not, they will remain in Grade 11 until the 85 credit requirement is satisfied.”
To be moved into grade 12 students must have 85 credits.
