Introduction to Engineering: this middle school related arts course introduces students to a career in Engineering.  Students use the design process and construct several different challenging projects by collaborating in groups.  They brainstorm a design and choose building materials based on observations and tests.  Using their engineering notebooks, students record their projects. Projects contain criteria and constraints that must be included in the final design. Students build, test, redesign and fail before completing their design.
