The Challenge!
We challenge you to develop a silent short-film using stop motion video that says "Hello" in a unique way.
Use a story board to preplan your film.
Use Stop Motion Video to create your short-film.
Materials for the challenge are limited to clay, whiteboards and Expo markers.
Students will:
Use the design process as a model to develop solutions.
Focus on the practices of pre-planning and troubleshooting to develop a product.
Use the challenge to develop the Pillar Skills in focus.
What can you do to keep your viewers interest?
Is your intent to surprise, make them smile, gasp...?
What can you make or draw that brings uniqueness to your video?
How does engaging in the engineering and design process help solve the problem?
How does understanding a purpose guide your planning and problems-solving?
