WSWSU E-Learning

Grades 9-12

Assignments Sent to Students

The primary e-Learning resource will be email and Google Classroom. Google Hangouts Meet, and other Google apps will also be used as a part of the e-learning experience. Students are already familiar with receiving and completing assignments electronically.

Students are expected to log in on school days to learn about their assignments. This is an opportunity for students to practice online etiquette and carry out their work with honesty, integrity, responsibility, and positive, respectful language. We encourage students to set daily e-learning routines. Identifying a dedicated space (kitchen table, desk, etc.) for e-Learning can help establish routine.

Parents may access their child's Google classroom by using his or her log-on information.

Teachers may send home additional learning materials with students such as independent reading books, notebooks and texts.

Reasonable expectations will be that children participate daily in the activities and lessons assigned by his/her teacher(s). Teachers will provide additional guidance and details in their communications.
