In fall '24 I did a short learning unit around Technology careers and Website Building platforms. During this time I tested a variety of website hosting platforms and reviewed them (see below). I also did a tech job search where I looked into a list of tech jobs and ranked them from jobs that seemed like something I would enjoy, a middle ground, and unnappealing. I also listed what seemed to be pros and cons of the ones that seemed to appeal the most to me at the time. Finally for quite some time on weebly.com to attempt to make an Flex website for this semester but in the end I found google was overall more user friendly when it comes to free options. In addition, I made brief draft slideshows of certain career paths I was interested in however I did not dive too much into this topic. Furthermore I dug deeper into cybersecurity specifically on a platform called tryhackme where I did a variety of tasks and readings to learn more about cyber security and ethical pentesting. These lessons included how to use a windows command line and machine, how to do basic command lines in linux, basic website security testing and exploit/vulnerability testing.
