Robotics
Ratchet Rocker Robotics Team 1706 is a FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC®) team based out of the Harris Building, comprised of students from all 4 WSD high schools. Ratchet Rockers students work in the business and/or technical fields to gain hands-on experience with teamwork and leadership. Our team upholds FIRST® core values of Coopertition™ and Gracious Professionalism™ during the competitions and throughout the season. Team members are responsible for all aspects of the construction and competition process under the direction of adult mentors. Some of the areas touched on by students include Mechanical Design, Software Programming, Computer Aided Design, Electrical Design, Financial Management, Safety, Scouting and Strategy, Public Relations, Digital Media, and Secretarial Duties.

Meeting & club details
Meetings:
Off Season (May- December) Monday meetings 5-8 pm and occasional special events and competitions
In Season (January- April) Monday- Thursday 5-8 pm and Saturdays 9 am -5 pm Students are not required to attend all meetings, they may flex their time.
Location: Harris Building 719 W. Pearce. Wentzville
Memberships Requirements: Students and Volunteering Parents must register with FIRST
Membership Dues: Dues $120 (financial aid available) + travel fees for all competitions. Students can fundraise to cover all costs.
