LHS Choir

Liberty High School Choirs are a place where every person is "welcome, wanted, and loved!" Our choirs meet during the school day throughout the year, working to learn and apply fundamentals in music literacy, vocal technique, and much more! Students apply skills and knowledge learned in class to choral literature. The choirs have sung many genres and styles of music from composers and artists ranging from the polyphonic texture of Palestrina to pop favorites from artists like Justin Timberlake. 

We currently offer three choirs during the school day: Concert Choir, Treble Select Choir, and Chamber Choir. With so many options, there is a place for anyone who loves to sing!

Concert Choir is our "open enrollment" choir course. Anyone 9-12th grade is welcome to join! This choir is a great place to be to develop a strong foundation in standard choral traditions. One can expect to learn the basics of music literacy, and work on vocal technique. Concert Choir performs in four concerts during the school year. 

Treble Select is a choir for intermediate soprano and alto voices with few years of prior experience. This choir works to build on the existing foundation in music literacy and vocal technique. Treble Select performs at four concerts and extracurricular activities during the school year. This ensemble is open to 9-12th graders by audition only. 

Chamber Choir is an advanced mixed ensemble. It is open to 10-12th grades by audition only. Singers in this ensemble are strong musicians with background in music literacy and performance. This choir performs in four concerts as well as several extracurricular activities throughout the year.
