All students have the right to develop and practice skills that will serve them in becoming a productive and contributing member of society. For some, these skills come naturally. For others, the struggle for mastery is continuous. Those who struggle will gain a greater appreciation for any knowledge or skill acquired. This is true of all things, including education. A student who asks questions and practices the things that do not come easy, will always have a greater appreciation for what they have earned. It is expected to struggle in life, it is never acceptable to quit. Only that which is fought for and earned holds any value.
Communication is essential to a student's success. Communication between instructor and student, student and parent, and parent and instructor. I strive to send correspondence on a regular basis. I believe that it must go in both directions. Waiting to ask questions or address concerns adds frustration. If there are any questions or concerns, please email me at zanzigr@wsd3.org.
