Notebook Grading (5 points per day)
Points earned based on the completeness of our notebooks. Proper set up, accurate notes, and detailed sketches are essential to earn maximum credit. We will have a weekly notebook grade done each Friday (or last class day of the week) and will cover the week previous' classes. This gives those who were absent a chance to get caught up, without penalty. Sample Notebook entries are found on Schoology under the Daily Notebook Tab.

Standards Based Grading
(Points vary depending on task)
The state of Colorado expects students who complete this course to able to know and do the above listed items. Grades are based on the level a student is able to demonstrate their learning. The points are similar to the GPA scale, with the lowest passing level worth a single point. Depending on what a student is expected to demonstrate, multipliers will be added to specific standards to make them worth more.
