Turning assigned work in on time is life habit needed to keep and maintain future employment. Rarely does an employer keep employees that can not complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. To prepare Mesa Ridge students for future employment, the following is my Late Work Policy.
The only exception to this policy is an excused absence, in accordance with WSD3's Attendance Policy (2 school days for each day excused).
All work is due by the assigned deadline.
An assignment is late when it is not turned in to the assigned location by the designated time.
Any item turned from 1 second to 7 calendar days late will receive a 25% deduction, on top of whatever grading penalties are incurred.
Any item turned in 7+ to 14 calendar days late will receive a 50% deduction, on top of whatever grading penalties are incurred.
NO LATE WORK will be accepted after 14 calendar days.
