Band is an AWESOME experience you can have at Orion. It's not just a class you take, it's an activity you get to participate in. Band is a great place for students to learn how to read music, learn to play an instrument, make lifelong friends, become a part of a team, and more!
ANYONE can join band, whether you're in 7th, 8th, or 9th grade. I've had some students who take beginning band in 9th grade, are super motivated and practice A LOT on their own, and are able to transfer into Advanced Band for our second semester. Band is a great place for EVERYONE!
