Upcoming Classes Information

Driver's Ed Class Dates

Classes held during the  school year when school is in session will generally be held in room C117 unless noted otherwise 

Classes held during school breaks/summer vacation will generally be held at the Holden Police Training Room in the Holden Police Complex)

Driver Ed is available to all students in the Wachusett School District. If you happen to live in the district and attend another school or are home schooled and wish to use Wachusett for Driver Ed please email me so I can review and have your registration approved.

Students are required to complete 30 hours in the class training, 40 hours of supervised driving at home plus 12 hours of driving and 6 hours of observation with an instructor

Step One - Determine class eligibility

Student must turn 15 years and 9 months old by day one of class for the RMV to give credit for the class. Use the my age calculator link to determine age on the class start date. If you have any questions, please email gregg_pospiel@wrsd.net 

Step two - Click on the registration link to the class you would like to join. and complete the registration form. Print a copy for your records

Students and parents will get further information about two weeks prior to the class. 

Note - A Parent or Guardian must also complete a 2 hour Parent/Guardian class which is held a few days prior to class.

If Parent/Guardian is not taking the Parent class; the date and name of both the parent and student must be supplied to me if the Parent class has already taken at Wachusett or proof of a Parent class must be submitted from another driving school with registration payment.

Step three - Mail or drop off your check made out to WRSD at the main office ATTN Driver Ed to hold your place in class. Full payment guarantees your place in class.

Please plan on showing up for class! 

Be aware that both Attendance and Participation are mandatory.

Any issues we should be aware of to help keep them safe behind the wheel  - I.e. driving anxiety, ADHD, color or night blindness etc

*A one year time frame to Complete Driver Ed requirements*

There is a 1 year time frame to complete Driver Ed beginning from day one of class.

Once you've completed the registration form you are entered into our system. You will not get a further confirmation email until I send out general emails to the whole class with updates on times and location etc. Your registration automatically updates once you complete the form,  please print out your confirmation and return a copy with your check.

*All Parent/Guardian name/names will be automatically added to the Parent Class List when registering your student*

All class Dates/Locations are subject to change due to conditions beyond our control. Please confirm prior to start of class.

Please note - missed modules will be made up in the next session!

Please note - when signing up - you must use your full legal name for all paperwork and use your WRSD email account - 

School Sponsored Road Exam Scheduling

To request a School Sponsored Road Exam, please email me a request for a road exam once you have been notified that your RMV paperwork has been processed. Most road exams will be Monday through Friday between 10 am and 11:00 am at the Leominster RMV. Please advise me of any dates you are not available such as exams, medical appointments etc.
