This Scholarship is awarded annually in the amount of $2500 in memory of Catie, Jana and Dara Bott, who passed away suddenly in 2015. Growing up on their family farm, they loved working the land, caring for the animals, and being creative in fine arts, cooking and sewing. Not only was their time spent on the farm, they also enjoyed volunteering in their church and various other events around the community. It is our hope that this scholarship will encourage and aid other young farmers who carry the same passion.
Criteria:
Be a graduating student, or has graduated the prior year, from David Thompson High School, West Central High School, Caroline School, or Visions West Outreach School in the Wild Rose School Division.
Be actively involved in a family farm.
Be enrolled in a post secondary program for the upcoming year. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a program related one of:
crop-based agriculture
animal-based agriculture
culinary arts and fine arts.
Others may also apply.
Have experience as a volunteer in their community.

This award will recognise students who are pursuing post-secondary education in animal health. The scholarship will be given to one student per year.
Scholarship will be advertised by each school and mentioned in each school's Scholarship Award Ceremony no matter if the scholarship is awarded or not.

Acceptance to eligible program, participation in 4-H and/or school Extra – Curricular Activities and Financial Need
Eligible Programs 1. Animal Health Technology - Grand Prairie Regional College, Lakeland College, NAIT, Olds College, SIAST
2. Bachelor of Science in Animal Health Major in Companion & Performance Animal - University of Alberta. 3. Vet Tech Assistant Program - Olds College
Application Process: Applicants should apply in letter form including a COPY OF THEIR ACCEPTANCE TO the eligible program, as well as outlining their 4-H/Extra Curricular experiences, and also how they plan to fund their education. Applications must be emailed to the (school’s) Career Counsellor. Career Counsellor or Principal will forward the application.

Awarded annually beginning in 2013 to two graduating students (one male, one female) from West Central High School who reflect the values of Ms. Hunley: commitment to learning, athletics, the arts and school and community service.
Criteria:
Service to school and community, academics (pursuing post-secondary learning), participation in athletics and the arts.
Reflecting Ms. Hunley’s lifelong commitment to community service and pursuit of knowledge, applicants will submit an essay describing how they have demonstrated these qualities through their high school years.
Students are to submit at least one letter of reference with their application attesting to their participation in community/school/volunteer work.

The Mountainview Dental scholarship awarded annually in the amount of $2,500 to students pursuing a career in the dental industry. This scholarship is designed to support our local communities by fostering the growth of future dental professionals. Our goal is to help ensure that rural communities have access to high-quality dental care provided by skilled local professionals.
Criteria:
Be a graduating student in Rocky Mountain House in the Wild Rose School Division.
The student must be enrolled an RDA or RDH program (or RDH pre-study) at a school accredited in Alberta.
The scholarship will be awarded to one student per year.
Priority will be given to students who have participated in work experience in the office.
Next consideration will be top marks.
The scholarship will be administered once the student has successfully started their program.
Application Process: We would like the school division to inform us of the student who has met the criteria and the Director of Operations or a representative will present the student with a cheque at an awards ceremony in the fall if possible.
