Clearwater County provides scholarships in the amount of $1,000 to one student graduating from each of the four (4) High Schools in Clearwater County, and there is now also a $1,000 scholarship available to a home-schooled student. including:
West Central High School ($1,000)
St. Dominic High School ($1,000)
David Thompson High School ($1,000)
Caroline High School ($1,000)
Home-schooled student in Clearwater County ($1,000)
The scholarships are intended to recognize the importance of youth achievement in the area of community service and to encourage academic advancement.
Criteria:
Any graduating student from a County High School registered and attending a post secondary school in a full time capacity;
Must have been a resident of Clearwater County at the time of graduation from high school (note: this does not include Town or Village residents);
Citizenship is the primary consideration for eligibility and includes involvement in the community or school in a voluntary and/or leadership capacity while attending high school. The scholarship recipient will be seen and recognized by other students as an individual who continually demonstrated care and respect for fellow students and the community;
A student, upon receiving this $1,000 scholarship once, is ineligible to receive another award under this program.

Description:
The Mountainview Dental scholarship awarded annually in the amount of $2,500 to students pursuing a career in the dental industry. This scholarship is designed to support our local communities by fostering the growth of future dental professionals. Our goal is to help ensure that rural communities have access to high-quality dental care provided by skilled local professionals.
Criteria:
Be a graduating student in Rocky Mountain House in the Wild Rose School Division.
The student must be enrolled an RDA or RDH program (or RDH pre-study) at a school accredited in Alberta.
The scholarship will be awarded to one student per year.
Priority will be given to students who have participated in work experience in the office.
Next consideration will be top marks.
The scholarship will be administered once the student has successfully started their program.
Application Process: We would like the school division to inform us of the student who has met the criteria and the Director of Operations or a representative will present the student with a cheque at an awards ceremony in the fall if possible.

The Obsidian Energy Ltd. Energy Excellence Scholarship awards three (3) $3,000.00 scholarships to students pursuing post‐secondary education in a program focused in the Oil & Gas industry. Scholarships are awarded to students within Obsidian Energy’s operating areas.

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize the academic accomplishments, offer assistance and encourage further education of the youth of the RMCA members, fans, sponsors, and residents of the Clearwater Region.
