Rehearsals

Will I need to be at every rehearsal?

You will only need to be at rehearsals for which you are called. The directors made casting decisions partially based on conflicts you listed on your information sheet during auditions. Therefore, you are allowed only 3 absences from rehearsals for which you are called before your role may be re-cast. Please let the directors know of any schedule conflicts as soon as possible so that we may plan ahead.

How do I know if I'm called for a rehearsal?

On the Rehearsal Schedule page, there are lists of cast called for rehearsals organized by scenes and songs. There will also be a calendar available to you on Google Classroom. Check the calendar to see which scenes are being blocked or which songs are being rehearsed each day. The schedule will be updated every Friday, though, in case we need extra time on one thing, or less time on another.

What are the times for rehearsals?

Times are listed on the calendar on the Rehearsal Schedule page. In general, January/February rehearsals are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 2-4pm, March rehearsals may go until 4:30 or 5 as we get closer to the performances!
