Students in grades 7-12 will be taking a variety of standardized tests throughout the next several weeks. Below is the testing schedule. Please help ensure your child gets a good night's sleep and breakfast before test day(s). If your child needs to miss school for a doctor's appointment that interferes with the testing schedule, please notify the office well in advance so alternate arrangements can be made for test completion.
May 6: Government, Geometry
May 7: AP Spanish, AP Physics I, Geometry
May 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15: 7th & 8th Grade MAP
May 8: AP English Lit, Biology, English I
May 9: Algebra II, English I
May 10: AP Computer Science, Algebra II, American History
May 13: AP Biology, AP Physics C, English II, Physical Science
May 14: English II, Algebra I
May 15: AP English Lang, Algebra I
If your child failed one or more course for the school year, he/she will have the opportunity to recover that credit during Summer School Credit Recovery. The advantage to credit recovery is that the grade your child earns during the summer program will replace the failed grade for that course. If he/she re-takes the course next year, the "F" stays on the transcript and the new grade is added. Watch for letters soon with more information.
