It is time to choose classes for next year!
Current 8th graders got their Enrollment Forms during their classroom lesson before Easter. Enrollment Forms are due back to me by MAY 10.
Current 7th, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will get their Enrollment Forms from their AFT teachers next week. Enrollment Forms are due back to me by MAY 10.
Included in this Newsletter, you will find the Course Offerings List for 2019-2020 and Course Descriptions for each course. If you have any questions about a class, feel free to contact me or the teacher of that class to get more information. There is also information about the Dual Credit and Advanced Placement (AP) classes offered at West Platte.

College Admissions and Financial Aid
By now, most seniors have received acceptance letters and Financial Aid Award letters from their various colleges. Now is the time to start comparing the offers from each college (if they applied to more than one college) to decide which college to attend. Look at how much financial aid is being offered and how much money is left to pay. Once a decision is made on where to attend, it is time to place deposits on housing and register for classes. Colleges typically send letters or emails with instructions on how to complete these steps. Deadlines are very important!
