OVERVIEW
People’s Clinic is a non-profit community health clinic that offers low-cost health services to insured and uninsured patients. They offer a wide variety of services including, 24/7 access to on-call physicians, urgent care, counseling, x-rays, pharmacy, dental care, and more. They have onsite interpreters in languages such as Spanish, Burmese, Kareni, Bosnian, and French.
ELIGIBILITY
Services are on a sliding scale fee. It is determined by the number of members in the household and the amount of monthly income. Below is the breakdown of each category assigned to each patient based on their economic situation.
Once the patient’s category is determined, their payment can be determined based on the services they received. Below is an example of a patient in the C category. The patient would pay $15 for a medical visit.
MATERIALS NEEDED
Documents needed to determine eligibility for reduced cost payments include the following:
Income information: Bring the last two pay stubs
Unemployment: letter of approval or 2 recent bank statements
Self-employment: most recent federal tax return
Social Security/Disability: award letter or 2 most recent bank statements

These documents should be brought with the client to their appointment.
If the client does not have any insurance, they can apply for a financial assistance program through People’s Clinic. If that is the case, you can find the application in 4 different languages here.
