B1. Research Output

• Primary users (university officers and full-time academic/teaching staff) are encouraged to fill HKBU and pre-HKBU publications as much as possible to facilitate data analytics and reporting carried out by the university

• In compliance with RGC and HKBU open access policies, please upload the published version (if the publisher allows) or at minimum the accepted manuscript (post-print version) of your journal article

• All publication data submissions will be first approved by the affiliated department, then verified by the Library for accuracy, including citations, embargo periods, full text versions, copyright, etc.

• Primary users are encouraged to upload audios, videos, scripts, images, etc. related to the works, or add external links for the public to access the files

• In compliance with RGC open access policies, please upload research datasets after removing confidential and sensitive data in the "Dataset" form (#24)

• Postgraduate students are not allowed to upload files (except research datasets) due to server size limitation, but are encouraged to provide external links to facilitate file access

• All non-textual work submissions (except datasets) will be approved by the affiliated department, which also serves as a gatekeeper to restrict visibility of a record when needed and remove files uploaded by students

• Dataset submissions (#24) will be verified by the Library to ensure proper removal of confidential and sensitive data

• Primary users and PhD students are encouraged to continuously update activities to facilitate data analytics and various reporting exercises carried out by the university, with an option to select the desired visibility level (Public, Campus, Backend, or Confidential) for each item

• Postgraduate students are not allowed to upload files due to server size limitation, but are encouraged to provide external links to facilitate file access

• Staff and students can decide whether to include legacy activity data retrospectively

• All activity submissions will be approved by the affiliated department, which also serves as a gatekeeper to restrict visibility of a record when needed and remove files uploaded by students

• Only eligible TPG Master's students will make use of this form to submit their ETDs. Refer to the A3. General Guidelines for Postgraduate Students for details

• IRIMS is not used to store or facilitate the preparation and submission of impact cases under RAE. Please contact the relevant department for more information.
